The Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini reviewed the implementation of new criminal laws in the state, while also monitoring the various developmental projects.

"Haryana will fully implement the three new criminal laws by February 28. For the smooth implementation of these laws, there is a need for fundamental changes in the system", the CM further cited.

The state is also going digital by introducing video conferencing in 445 courts.

He further emphasised adopting systems of e-summons and e-challans.

Speaking about embedding fear of forces in inmates, the CM said, "The police force must instill a sense of fear among criminals to deter unlawful activities. There must be a clear message that the law is strict and firm against criminals".

"Along with adopting the system of e-summons and e-challan, around 445 video conferencing facilities will be implemented in the court for the presentation of prisoners through video conferencing from the jail itself. The government's aim is to make the state a drug-free state. Instructions have been given to take more strict action against drug addiction".

"The government is committed to stopping the supply chain of drugs. Strict inspection of de-addiction centres is necessary; those centres which do not meet the standards should be closed immediately. I would also like to appeal to my family members in the state, especially women and youth, that as public representatives, you should support us in the campaign to stop drug abuse", added CM Saini, writing a post on X.
