A 34-year-old Japanese woman, Madoko Thamano, was found dead after allegedly falling from the balcony of a 14th-floor apartment in Gurugram, Haryana. The police reported the incident on Sunday, March 9.
According to officials, Madoko Thamano had been living in Gurugram with her husband and two children since September last year. The tragic incident took place on the morning of March 8 when the police received a call about a severely injured woman lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
A senior police officer confirmed that after conducting the post-mortem, the woman's body was handed over to her family. Authorities have also informed the Japanese Embassy about the incident.
Inspector Sandeep Kumar, SHO of Sector 53 police station, stated that an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fall.
