A brave soldier from Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul and Spiti district has laid down his life while serving the nation at Siachen Glacier. Arun, from Kishori village, was part of the Ladakh Scouts regiment as an Agniveer under the Agnipath scheme.

 

Known for his dedication and patriotism, Arun was posted at one of the toughest battlefields in the world. His sacrifice has brought immense grief to his family, village, and the entire region.

 

Lahaul-Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana expressed deep sorrow over the loss and said, “This is an irreparable loss. Soldiers like Arun are the reason our country remains safe. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.”

 

Former MLA Ravi Thakur also conveyed condolences, saying he stands with the family in this hour of pain and prays for Arun’s soul to rest in peace.

The whole community is mourning the young soldier whose courage and devotion will never be forgotten.
