President of India Droupadi Murmu on Friday returned to Delhi after a five-day sojourn in Himachal Pradesh. She was given a warm send-off at the Annandale Helipad in Shimla by the state government.
Governor Kavinder Gupta and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu were present on the occasion.
Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari, and other senior civil, police, and Army officers were also present.
Earlier, the President visited the Army Training Command in Shimla before leaving for Delhi. Governor Kavinder Gupta was also present on the occasion.
