A major road accident near Kamal village in Moga district, Punjab, left 20 people injured. The crash happened on the road under Dharamkot police station.
A Punjab Roadways bus from the Jalandhar depot, heading to Dharamkot, suddenly crossed the divider on the main road and collided with a goods vehicle.
The impact caused the bus to overturn and go off the road.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver and conductor of the bus fled immediately after the accident. Local residents rushed to help, rescuing the injured passengers and sending them to the hospital for treatment.
Balwinder Singh, the driver of the Bolero Camper goods vehicle, is in critical condition and is being treated in the hospital.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
