Qatar Airways has resumed daily flight operations between Doha and Amritsar, restoring services from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport after disruptions caused by airspace closures linked to the Iran–Israel conflict.
The airline had scaled down operations to just two weekly flights after suspending services in early March when Qatari airspace was shut amid escalating tensions in West Asia. With conditions easing, it reinstated its full daily schedule in the last week of April, bringing relief to international travellers from Punjab.
According to flight schedules, the inbound flight from Doha arrives in Amritsar at around 2.30 am, while the return service departs at approximately 3.30 pm. The route is considered crucial for passengers connecting to destinations in North America and Europe via Doha.

In a parallel development, Air India Express has also resumed its daily flights to Sharjah from Amritsar, partially restoring connectivity to Gulf destinations.
Earlier, multiple daily services operated on the Amritsar–Sharjah and Amritsar–Dubai sectors, catering to a significant volume of passengers from the region.
However, IndiGo is yet to restart its Sharjah services from Amritsar, with some Dubai-bound operations also continuing to face disruptions. Travellers remain
hopeful that the airline will soon resume these routes.
To ease passenger concerns, Qatar Airways has allowed those booked for travel until October to modify their travel dates without change fees, although fare differences may apply.
