Muluguri Suresh, who is a government employee, has allegedly gone absconding after duping several people of about ₹40 crore.
Suresh was employed with the Peddapalli electricity department.
He collected the amount from the locals at the pretext of giving high returns by investing in an online business.
After collecting all the money, it has been learnt that Suresh is absconding. As a result, the victims staged a protest in front of his residence.
According to the victims, Suresh collected ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh from the people by promising high returns by investing the money in an online business.

He collected the amount over the last three and a half years.
When he failed to return their amount even after repeated requests, they had lodged a complaint with the police. However, no action was taken against Suresh.
As the victims strated to mount pressure for on Suresh, he went missing.
Realising that they were duped, all the victims came together and staged a protest in front of his residence. They want the authorities to intervene and take the initiative to get their money back.
