Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav arrived at the assembly on Tuesday for the first time after his expulsion from his father Lalu Prasad-headed RJD, which he had founded. Yadav, who had been, till then, sitting beside younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the opposition, however, did not come in and went back after hanging around inside the Vidhan Sabha complex for a few minutes.
Speaking to the media, he stated that he might attend the hearings in the coming days. The current monsoon session, the final of the present assembly, will get underway on July 25.

Tej Pratap Yadav smiled sheepishly when questioned why he showed up in a white kurta pyjama on a day all opposition members, including his junior brother, wore black as a protest against the state's special intensive revision of electoral rolls.
"I always wear like this, being a firm believer of the philosophy of simple living, high thinking," he told the media, and then added, "I do wear a black dress on Saturday. Shani Devata (the God of Saturn) looks extremely annoyed with me." The erstwhile Bihar minister was sacked by his father after he posted on social media that he was "in a relationship" with a woman other than his estranged wife, despite the fact that the divorce petition was pending before the court.
