Three people, including a minor, lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Chhattisgarh’s Balod district when their motorcycle collided with a stationary truck.
The incident occurred on Saturday night near Manki village, under the jurisdiction of Arjunda police station, as the victims were returning home after an outing.
According to local police, the accident happened when the motorcycle crashed into a truck that had broken down and was parked on the road. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the immediate death of all three riders.
The victims were identified as Piyush Sahu, 17, Anil Sahu, 18, and Vikas Thakur, 22.
Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident, including whether proper safety measures were in place for the stationary truck.
