Two-time National Award winner Vivek Agnihotri is returning to the big screens after his superhit film, ‘The Kashmir Files’, which starred Anupam Kher in the lead role.

His new film focuses on the alleged 'Hindu Genocide' during the Direct Action Day in 1946. It explores communal violence in undivided Bengal during the 1940s. The film also covers the Noakhali riots of 1946.

The trailer starts with a monologue about Bengal before the partition. It features performances from Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar.
