On Sunday, a spokesperson for the Border Security Force (BSF) reported that two drones and a packet of heroin were found near the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar district, Punjab.
The first drone, along with a packet containing 570 grams of heroin, was found in a field near Daoke village on Saturday. The second drone was recovered by BSF patrol troops from a field near Mahawa village, also on Saturday.
It is believed that both drones crashed after encountering technical countermeasures that have been set up along the border to prevent such activities. The countermeasures likely caused the drones to malfunction.
