Two individuals were swept away after a tractor fell into an overflowing drain in Dukheri village on Saturday, the police said.
Four people were travelling in a tractor trolley carrying bricks from Naraingarh to Mohra when the vehicle lost control and overturned near the village.
The police said two persons were rescued safely, while the other two were carried away by the strong current and are still missing. A search operation is on with the help of villagers.
Locals said the tractor occupants were warned against crossing the waterlogged stretch but they did not listen.
