Following the Hathras stampede incident that killed 121 people, mostly women, there has been a surge in discussions about Surajpal Singh, also known as Bhole Baba or Narayan Sakar Hari, among his devotees.
There are daily emerging revelations about Baba, with women who attended Surajpal’s satsang making startling claims.
They have disclosed that Surajpal, also known as Bhole Baba, was constantly surrounded by young girls during the satsang. According to a report, the organising committee would provide these girls with special red dresses to wear during the satsang, during which they would dance in a state of elation.
According to the women, during the satsang, Surajpal would reveal the form of “God” to them through his glasses, which he only wore during the satsang. Furthermore, the women in attendance made a number of other revelations but seemed reluctant to share them, even in private.
At a recent satsang, a woman shared her observations about Surajpal and his interactions with the attendees. She noted that unmarried girls treated Surajpal as their husband and showed deep respect for him, often fulfilling his requests. These girls were reported to see the form of “God” in Surajpal's glasses, which he exclusively wore during the satsang.
Surajpal’s followers said there were different categories of women in Baba’s ashram and institute. Only unmarried girls could become Surajpal’s disciples after receiving his special initiation. Married women who saw Bhole Baba in Surajpal stayed away from him as he didn’t allow them to come near him.
A woman who participated in “Bhole Baba’s” satsang mentioned that Baba had a preference for the colour red. Unmarried girls would dress in red attire, adorn themselves with jewellery and makeup, and perform dances around Baba during the satsang.
The satsang committee supplied these specific garments. Following the dance, the girls would change out of their outfits. All of this took place during the satsang.
Residents residing close to the ashram remarked that the girls managed all of Baba's responsibilities. They prepared a special neem water infused with rose petals and fragrance for Baba's bathing. The girls also took care of feeding Baba and were in constant attendance around him.
