Owaisi dubs Waqf Bill 'barbaad', unconstitutional; slams NDA

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has termed the Waqf Amendment Bill unconstitutional, alleging it violates fundamental rights enshrined in Articles 14, 25, 26, and 29. Meanwhile, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju defended the bill, arguing that the existing Waqf laws predate independence, dismissing concerns over its legality.
