Supreme Court junks Mughal heir's claim to Red Fort

The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea by Sultana Begum, widow of the great-grandson of Bahadur Shah Zafar, seeking possession of the Red Fort as its legal heir. The court termed the plea “completely misconceived” and rejected it citing excessive delay in filing the claim.
