Calcutta Univ students attacked in Kolkata, labelled ‘B'deshis’

Students of Calcutta University’s Carmichael Hostel were allegedly attacked by hawkers in Sealdah, beaten with sticks and branded “Bangladeshis” for speaking Bengali, sparking outrage and protests.
