Cyclone Fengal is set to make landfall near Puducherry on Saturday, bringing torrential rainfall and wind speeds of 70-80 kmph. Seven Tamil Nadu coastal districts and Puducherry are on alert, with extremely heavy rain forecast in isolated areas on Friday and widespread downpours expected during landfall.
