10 dead as massive fire engulfs state-run hospital in Cuttack

The fire erupted on the first floor of the trauma department, quickly filling the ward with thick, suffocating smoke. At the time, 23 critically ill patients were undergoing treatment in the unit, many of whom were on life-support equipment.
