Gujarat sees 145 pc rise in GST taxpayers in 8 years

Gujarat recorded a 145 per cent increase in the number of Goods and Services Tax (GST) payers over the last eight years, with the figure rising from over 5.15 lakh in 2017 to more than 12.66 lakh in the 2024–25 financial year.
