Sensex, Nifty dip in early trade as ITC slumps over 3%

Equity markets opened lower on Wednesday, with ITC dragging indices after reports of a partial stake sale by British American Tobacco. While major Asian bourses traded mixed, Wall Street ended sharply higher. ITC fell over 3 per cent amid reports of a 2.3 per cent stake dilution.
