India expedites ₹31K cr Indo-Myanmar border fencing project

India has intensified efforts to construct a 1,643-km fence along its border with Myanmar to curb smuggling, human trafficking, and armed infiltration. Costing ₹31,000 crore, the decade-long project will include advanced surveillance systems and regulated gates to ensure both security and trade continuity.
