Haasan secures Rajya Sabha berth with DMK-MNM poll pact

Backed by Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK, actor and MNM founder Kamal Haasan is set to enter the Rajya Sabha as part of a seat-sharing agreement. Alongside Haasan, the DMK has named senior advocate P. Wilson, poet Salma, and former minister S.R. Sivalingam for the upcoming 19 June elections.
