Mauryan-era 80-pillared assembly hall to reopen in Patna

The Archaeological Survey of India will reopen a section of the '80-pillared assembly hall' in Patna, which dates back to the Mauryan era. The site is believed to have hosted Emperor Ashoka’s Third Buddhist Council, and the hall will be opened after 20 years.
