Mizoram becomes India's first 'fully literate state'

Mizoram has been declared India’s first fully literate state, announced by Chief Minister Lalduhoma at Mizoram University. Under the ULLAS and Nav Bharat Saksharta Karyakram schemes, intensive community efforts and volunteer teaching eradicated illiteracy, with a renewed focus now on digital, financial, and entrepreneurial literacy.
