TMC seeks Bharat Ratna for astronaut Sunita Williams

TMC MP Mohammed Nadimul Haque on Wednesday demanded the Bharat Ratna for NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, lauding her achievements in space exploration. His remarks in Rajya Sabha, however, sparked controversy, with BJP members objecting to references he made about a late leader from Gujarat. The comments were later expunged.
