Centre okays Rs 1,734-cr Shimla ropeway project

Agnihotri added that in-principle approval has been given for the use of 6.1909 hectares of forestland, following all environmental and legal guidelines. The project will create new job opportunities for local people and offer tourists a pleasant and modern travel experience, he said.
