India, Netherlands discuss Brahmaputra, Barak revamp plans

India is leveraging Dutch expertise in river engineering to transform its inland waterways, particularly the Brahmaputra and Barak rivers. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal discussed the collaboration at Singapore Maritime Week, focusing on sustainable navigation, advanced dredging, and the potential expansion of maritime cooperation with the Netherlands.
