Situation tense in Doda after AAP MLA’s detention under PSA

The Public Safety Act (PSA) is one of the stringent acts of the Constitution that allows the detention of up to 2 years without charge in some cases. Malik happens to be the first sitting MLA lodged in jail under such provision.
