Rhino population in WB hits new high, second to Kaziranga

The latest rhino census has recorded a significant rise in the population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros in Jaldapara and Gorumara National Parks, highlighting the success of conservation efforts, strict anti-poaching measures, and habitat restoration programmes in Bengal.
